Burns Art Hotel

I had a nice stay. They offered some complimentary sweets and fruit. The room was clean, the check-in was smooth. Very nice breakfast buffet and personnel. Though the check-in took forever. There was only one clerk in the busy morning hours and several check-ins & -outs at the same time.

Cosy and refined, it offers a welcoming stay in the centre. The mini appartment room is very spacious for two people. Breakfast is fine, good variety although not much hot food. If you travel by car, reserve a place, spaces are limited.

The staff was nice and helpful. Rooms are decent and clean, but this is has nothing to do with art or your expectations from a hotel you would find in the design hotels guide. That said the hotel has nothing to do with "art" - unless you count cheesy calendar style proverb-wall-tattoos like "Being" and "Time" as art. Also the exterior shot in maps has nothing to do with the actual building. Parking was in a slightly rundown, walled off, partially roofed backyard of a former gas station/ repair shop That said the hotel was nice and decent, but the name completely oversells what you are getting.
