The hotel and restaurant are simply incomparable, if the rooms can be said to be simply excellent, then the restaurant should be given a separate and certainly laudatory review. The restaurant and staff responsible for the good atmosphere and fast serving of food are worthy of extreme praise. I have not come across another establishment in the city where they will do everything at the guest’s request. If you want to change the dish or come up with a new one, please, they will prepare it for you as the most dear guest, such a dear one as can only be found in the east. I recommend it to everyone!

Interesting, professionally decorated interior with many household items from the 19th - early 20th centuries. Good cuisine, incl. with local flavor. The service is tolerable, although the waiters here don’t seem to work very hard. The administrator is a sad soviet girl who greets guests with a lean face. Summary: praise the designers, reward the cook, train the waiters, fire the administrator.

I really wanted comfort and therefore, among the 4-star hotels, I chose not a chain hotel, but Kupechesky and bitterly regretted it. 4 stars are not only robes and slippers, but also the attitude towards the guest, and in Kupechesky this was probably once the case, but they have clearly forgotten how it is done today. "We have a cigar room." I walk in and it’s just a smoking room, wait, where are the cigars? "We have a great selection at the bar." I walk up to the bar, “yes, of course we have cigars.” He brings out the humidor, and there are three cigars in it, and they have clearly been lying in it for several years, as they are completely dry... The walls between the rooms are completely lacking in sound insulation - you can tell exactly who is with whom and how many times in the next room. Breakfast - three plates with sliced sausage/cheese, three carafes in each of which half a glass of drink and yogurt splashes at the bottom - of course you can eat it, but somehow it doesn’t deserve four stars at all, but what choice is there - the boiling water with which to brew tea is so “not boiling water” that even a bag does not color the water. And the thirst for money is actually something. Well, if I rent a suite, you can probably assume that I can afford to pay for another breakfast (it turns out that in this hotel they don’t rent a room, but the right for one person to live in it) and ask me about it later when I go to the reception, and not run into the restaurant shouting “pay for another breakfast.” I wonder if I refused, would the administrator say goodbye to tearing the piece of cheese out of the girl’s mouth? Overall, a great place, interesting interior, but the manager needs to be changed!
