My trip and stay to Buttermilk Spa was outstanding, from the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by Dehaja who was warm and accommodating. The room was outstanding clean, the bed was comfy and everything was super clean, loved the view from the deck took advantage of that lots. The Spa services were outstanding and again the staff was more then helpful and so friendly and kind. the grounds are beautiful and peaceful it was a wonderful time to reflect and renew. Henry's was outstanding the food was amazing and the staff awesome... The history of the Inn was so interesting, that added to the charm. Every morning I was greeted by Alicia who was warm and welcoming and her cooking was super awesome.. Each day I had an opportunity to engage in wonderful conversations and enjoy wonderful breakfasts.... Her daughter who also worked there was such a joy, positive and full of energy..... I will be sure to return and have shared the information for the Buttermilk Inn and Spa with many. The entire experience gave me time to sit back and find my inner peace... I highly recommend this location to everyone.

The atmosphere at Buttermilk spa was a bit chaotic. First, it was a bit challenging to find a parking spot. Then the front desk couldn’t find our reservation, which we made on their website. The room we reserved wasn’t available so they ended up giving us a smaller room (and refunded some) with the fire place on! It was 95 degrees out! The bed was a bit soft. Everytime we walked to our car it seemed there were trucks or staff vehicles passing and we had to move out of the way. The breakfast eggs were delicious. Surprised that the room amenities were bee products but the honey at breakfast was in packets. We were there during off season but expensive for what you get.

I bought my mom a gift card for the spa for her birthday - it was her first ever spa experience and I thought I was really treating her to something amazing, given the price. She told me that the people at the desk were great, and so were the masseuse and the facial tech, but the spa facility was “gross” - cobwebs in the corner, dirty carpets, no ambiance or pleasant aromas whatsoever. I understand that there are renovations being made to the main spa, but like…give this temporary one some attention. It’s not fair. Not how I wanted my mom’s first spa experience to be. Should really charge far less - people go to spas for more than just the bare minimum treatments. Expected more.
