Buyuk Anadolu Eregli Hotel

I'm staying in this hotel 3rd time as the rooms are nice as well as breakfast and service. If you just want to relax at your business trip and want a hotel where everything will be easy and light you should choose this hotel. Aware that there is no iron in the room. But of course they can take your clothes and iron for small payment.

The hotel/interior is somewhat old-fashioned (but I also secretly like this a bit) and is generally well maintained, cleaning could perhaps be a little better. What struck me most is that there is absolutely no practical information in the room, regarding what to do in case of an emergency and something as simple as, for example, the breakfast/dinner times and opening times of the swimming pools. Breakfast is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, every day, including weekends. Dinner from about 19:00 to about 22:00, outside these times you can also get something, at least something like a sandwich or a hamburger with fries. If all goes well there is 24/7 room service, although I didn't have to use it. The outdoor pool is open from 10:00 to 18:00, although people are called to leave the pool at about 17:15, at least I think so, since the call for this is only broadcast in Turkish over a speaker near to the pool, which in my opinion produces way too loud music for the rest of the day. Indoor swimming pool is open from 10:00 to 22:00, please note that it is only accessible for women on Monday and Thursday evenings between 18:00 and 19:30. Slides in the outdoor swimming pool: these are switched on approx. 4x(?) per day for an hour. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, they are just not all very fluent in English, but nowadays you can always use Google Translate to communicate :-) Laundry service: in general, if you hand it in at the front desk in the morning, you will find it back in your room in the afternoon, good enough for "freshening up" normal clothing, for company clothing with, for example, oil and / or grease stains, it worked somewhat less well. The hotel is also regularly used for wedding parties, especially Friday and Saturday evenings, whereby the area surrounding the outdoor pool is (regularly) used, so that the outdoor pool is no longer accessible, but you can always go to the indoor pool. These parties generally last until about 23:00 with a peak at 23:30, you can use these evenings as a good excuse to explore the center of Eregli. A taxi to the center can generally be arranged quickly at the front desk and the ride to the center (about 4.5 km / 3 miles) costs about 25TL, depending on what time you go back to the hotel, the return trip can take up to approx. 30TL (especially on weekends).

Old fashioned hotel, equipped with sauna, swimming pool, restaurant, massage point. Restaurant deserves a lot for dinner, meat tends to be on the well done side. Impeccable service by waiters, laundry significantly cheap but honest and fast.
