BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments Patong Beach Phuket

BYD Lofts review My wife and I had eight nights here recently. The staff were all amazing, with a particular shout out to Jack, our barman, who my wife said made the best margaritas. They have a small gym, which had a good range of equipment for its size. However, the small portable AC unit meant that I had fairly light workouts as the temperature was never below the mid-20s. The pool was not big but it was plenty big enough to cool down and relax later in the afternoon. The apartments were not very busy (off-season) so more often than not we had the pool to ourselves. We did have some issues with air-conditioning on the first night and the first attempt to fix it failed. Late on the second afternoon they did some more work and it worked perfectly after that. Breakfast options were not as good as we had expected, nor the quality on the whole. There were some nice dishes such as the omelette and the waffle and the coffee was great. Some reviews have commented that the Lofts are located within minutes of everything you need. It would be more accurate to say that they were within seconds of everything you need. Within a minute there were several laundry options, cafes and restaurants, massage places and even several places to buy weed if that’s your thing. The sky bar at the hotel next door was also within seconds and definitely worth a visit for the view and the cool sea breeze. I would happily stay here again, despite the few issues we had, given how beautifully maintained the apartments are, how great the staff were and how close it is to everything.

We are a family of 4 from Australia and feel like we've stumbled upon an absolute gem! We have the 2 bedroom grand deluxe apartment and our kids are so comfortable they call it home. There is a huge balcony to sit and enjoy the evening after the kids bedtime. The breakfast is excellent quality and so quiet and relaxing. For those considering it, forget a resort, choose this instead!

This is already the third time I'm staying at this property within three months. Only positive things to say. Professional and very responsive team. The suites are quite large with a modern design, very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. I will come back for sure!
