It’s a treat for Indians. Excellent Location to go Markets. Many Indian restaurants just attached to the property. They have now equipped the toilets with Jet Spray for washing. Laundry service also started. And a good descent breakfast available at property. Overall 10/10

English speaking staff, round the day tea, coffee and fruits. Sumptuous breakfast and located near business district and Indian restaurants. Overall great value.

My three-night stay at Byland Star Hotel offered a decidedly mixed experience. The property earns its 3-star overall rating, though with notable strengths and weaknesses. The rooms (2 stars) were disappointing - while clean, they featured dated furnishings, thin walls, and maintenance issues that affected comfort. Service quality (2 stars) was inconsistent, with some staff being helpful while others seemed indifferent or undertrained. The hotel's standout feature is undoubtedly its location (4 stars) - centrally positioned with excellent access to transportation, shopping, and dining options. This convenience factor partially compensated for the property's shortcomings. The attached video shows the area during rainfall, highlighting the busy urban setting surrounding the hotel. The breakfast buffet offered basic options without much variety. Common areas were functional but lacked charm or character. For business travelers prioritizing location over comfort, Byland Star Hotel might suffice, but leisure travelers expecting quality accommodations should look elsewhere. At this price point, there are better options combining convenience with more comfortable accommodations.
