Loved loved loved my stay here. Such a great location - quiet but only a few steps away from great restaurants and shops. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The bed was super comfy and had high quality linen. Added bonuses were onsite parking and super helpful managers that went above and beyond. Would happily stay again or recommend to friends.

I rented The Residence for two entire weeks. @ $8,000.00 per week, I am unable to recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately 😕 The 50hrtz hum that resonates throughout the entire apartment is not complimentary to peaceful sleep, and one is left feeling as though they are camping on top of a generator. The source of the problem lays with the three apartments below that have their ceiling fans running 24/7, and the wooden floors act as a huge diaphragm, sending the vibrations right through your entire chakra set. Every time the apartments below choose to flush their toilets, and they will do, at all hours, you will experience the entire audio and inconvenience of it, coming up through the ensuite two feet from your head on the pillow. If peace and calm are what you desire when sleeping, then this apartment is not for you. The batteries in the t.v remote that were flat and leaking acid have been replaced. The dishwasher that wasn't working due to the sensor knocked out of alignment is now fixed. The blocked drain in the hallway bathroom has been dealt with and is now usable. The kitchen blind has been aligned such that it is now usable. To everyone that has rented this place after the 4th January 2025, YOU'RE WELCOME!! To the gardener who thought that blasting his leaf blower and mechanical hedge trimmer at 7:40am at an expensive holiday spot was okay.. I have no apologies to give! Think of me as a lesson learned. You're welcome 😊 Byron Bay is beautiful, but Byron Bathers did not come anywhere near what one would and should have expected from a 'luxury escape ' in my opinion.

We stayed at Byron Baythers in early January for 4 nights. The location is terrific, however the listing is not as described. We booked the room based on the property being advertised as a luxury adults only property. However upon arrival we saw children and could hear them running back wards and forwards upstairs. We love kids but had booked a rare kid free holiday. We sent a message to the management and received a reply that stated they allowed children in the upstairs unit but did nothing to address the comments that we had flagged that the property was incorrectly advertised. They maintained that the property could still be adults only even if they allowed children upstairs. We disagreed in our reply and subsequent communication was ignored. There is also construction happening next door, which we were only told about after we had booked and paid for the property. There were workers in cherry pickers overlooking the "private" pool so we never felt comfortable enough to use it. The construction started early most mornings and we couldn't sleep through it. The free muesli breakfast was a nice touch, but the cleaners come by at 7am and noisily unpack the dishwasher for the shared kitchenette (which was right outside our room). Wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.
