Pure luxury – an unforgettable stay at Bürgenstock! Bürgenstock is the definition of true luxury. Yes, the price is higher – but every cent is absolutely worth it. The breathtaking location, the panoramic views over Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains, and the impeccable service make this hotel truly exceptional. We stayed in a stunning room with a mountain and lake view – waking up there was a dream. Dinner on both evenings was excellent, and the atmosphere in the restaurants was elegant yet relaxed. On the third evening, we took the funicular and boat down to Lucerne – all included in the room rate – and it added even more charm to our stay. Evenings at the hotel bar were a delight – calm, beautifully designed, and the perfect way to unwind after a day in the mountains. The spa and pools were absolutely perfect. We especially enjoyed the infinity pool in the early morning hours, which was magical. Traveling with kids, we didn’t spend the whole day at the spa, but it was more than enough to feel completely relaxed. The famous Hollywood pool at the top was also spectacular – with views you’ll never forget. We had an unforgettable time and truly felt like we were in a different world. Everything was perfectly thought out, elegant, and peaceful. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had!

Spectacular resort with some of the best views money can buy. Make sure you book a lake-facing suite because waking up to that view every morning re-wires your brain. Great restaurant options, easy access to the lake and Lucerne. All of this and the most stunning infinity pool in Switzerland. Special shout out to Marlon in the spa. Can’t recommend this resort enough.

This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve had. First, the view. The resort is set atop a mountain overlooking beautiful Lake Lucerne on one side and a green alpine valley on the other. The hotel does a great job leveraging these views with big glass windows and lots of outdoor spaces. When you walk outside, the majority of times you’ll only hear birds chirping and cowbells clanking. it’s incredibly peaceful. The resort staff are friendly, eager to please and all speak perfect English (helpful for my family traveling from the U.S.). There are multiple restaurants serving a variety of cuisines; each one we tried was delicious. My only caution to travelers is to be fully aware of the costs. The region — and the resort — are very expensive but I knew that. For me, it was worth paying so much for lifelong memories with my family. I sincerely hope to be able to visit Bürgenstock again one day in the future. It’s like a dream resort.
