Büyük Hotel

We had a wonderful week at Büyük Hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful — always smiling and ready to assist. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a location. Thank you for making us feel so welcome — we truly enjoyed our stay!

Very noisy at night. Standard rooms r an inside room with building view. Sea facing is an additional €30 each night. Shower pressure worst I ever experienced. Rooms have no duvets just thin sheets to sleep with. Bed n pillow r comfy but how do u sleep without a duvet. Bathroom is so tiny. Towels r hard to touch not luxury. Breakfast was amazing at the Italian restaurant with a view. The location is pretty good for shopping. But there is no swimming pool here. U have to pay 250lira to get access for an umbrella and a chair at the beach if u want to swim. However if u walk down the public zone it's free to just swim. And if u want a late check out u must request this @ €10per hour over the 12pm check out time. LUCKILY they decided to allow us a grace period of two hours complementary. To rest. Then sit in the lounge area to wait for our shuttle. As It is 360km away from the Anatalya airport. We had to travel 3hrs to get here. And was so disappointed with so many things. Last night we where told by the breakfast host that dinner place was open until 12. We popped in for Pizzas and the chef said the kitchen is closed and nobody will make it. I shud go across the street to the pizza place for a pizza. To a hotel guest. Not the best service for night food from a popular restaurant.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the castle, with a nice walking path along the beach and a variety of restaurants and cafés nearby. While the hotel has a nice appearance, it doesn't match the luxurious look shown in the photos. The rooms, bathrooms, fitness center, and even the elevator are quite small, but the bed was very comfortable. If you're sensitive to noise, be aware that the hotel is right on a main street, so traffic sounds from cars and motorcycles can be noticeable. As a 4-star hotel, they also offer access to a spa center, though it is not actually part of the hotel, just connected to it. Unfortunately, the spa premises were disappointing and did not meet expectations. Breakfast is quite basic, with limited options, and the staff in the morning didn’t seem very attentive. However, the view from the 5th floor is lovely, and the staff in the evening, when the restaurant is open, were much friendlier. Unfortunately, we experienced a couple of cold showers, which was unacceptable, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, another major downside for a hotel of this level.
