Absolutely loved our stay at C Joy Hotel Firenze! The property is beautiful, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the service is top-notch. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the snacks available throughout the day in the lobby bar and the well-appointed amenities in the room. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of all the main attractions in Florence. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. We’ll definitely be back!

I was given a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. However, when I noticed that the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, one of your staff members promptly came to assist. He went the extra mile by contacting a technician and doing his best to resolve the issue. When the problem persisted, he thoughtfully suggested a room change to ensure my comfort. The complimentary welcome drink at the hotel bar and a chocolate on bed made a nice touch to it. Room is kept clean everyday and I truly enjoyed stay here.

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Florence and overall it was an acceptable hotel but is rated far too high. For context, I am from the US, 30 years old, and have travelled abroad many times. I would not recommend that my mom stay here but would recommend that my friends stay here if they want somewhere to sleep that is cheap and close enough to the city attractions. Also, it is next to the train station which has its pros and cons. For Americans, I would describe this as a budget hotel with good service. In hindsight, I wish that I had paid extra to stay in the beautiful cobblestone city. You need to walk about .3 miles before you feel like you’re in beautiful Florence and not just some city. Pros: The service was great. The check-in process was easy, the breakfast staff was great, and the front-desk ordered me a taxi for the airport at 4:30AM that came in 5 minutes. The air conditioning was amazing which was important during a heat wave. The elevator worked. Cons: The rooms were small, the bathrooms were small, there was noise from the street/guests, and you are farther away from everything than you think. The shower had one of those half doors that got water everywhere and the toilet was very close to the wall. There was some mold on the shower. The room was a little beat up. The noise from inside and outside the hotel is pretty significant. Also, you have to walk about .3 miles before you are no longer in a sketchier feeling area. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it wasn’t beautiful Florence. TLDR; For Americans, this is a budget hotel with good service. This hotel isn’t in the beautiful part of Florence and you need to walk about .3 miles to get there. If you have the budget, stay on the river or in the city square instead.
