Great location with good restaurants close by. Staff friendly and helpful Room was spacious, quiet, comfy bed, good powerful shower. Chargeable mini bar. Complimentary water would have been nice. Breakfast was average, was looking forward to fresh pastries but there were frozen ones. Late checkout was €90 so didn't bother and stored bags after checkout at 12pm

Although this hotel is in a great location and looks charming, none of that matters when you can’t sleep in the brutal heat of a Roman summer. We booked this property because it advertised air conditioning. After checking in, we quickly realized the AC in our room wasn’t working. Only when we went to speak to the staff did they explain that the unit was broken and “under maintenance.” Exhausted after a 14-hour flight, we felt pressured to stay the first night because we simply didn’t have the energy to search for another hotel so late. The room was unbearably hot—like a sauna—and instead of closing it off or offering a proper alternative, they refused to cancel or refund our prepaid reservation. By midnight we couldn’t take it anymore, left the hotel, and had to scramble to find another place to stay. It was stressful and nerve-wracking trying to find a last-minute room at that hour, and thanks to their greed, we ended up paying for two hotels in one night. What was supposed to be a 3-night stay turned into a costly, exhausting ordeal, and only after much arguing did they finally agree to refund 2 of the 3 nights. Deeply disappointing and not an experience I would ever want another traveler to go through.

Please be very careful about staying at this hotel. It is most definitely not a 4 star place. There are much better options out there. The young afternoon staff were very rude and unhelpful. We only stayed thankfully for one night because we were on a tour. The place needs some love. Very tired and lots of maintenance issues. Broken toilet seat, broken air con, mouldy smell in rooms, wallpaper lifting off wall etc. The breakfast was pretty basic too. Extremely dubious about the authenticity of the 5 star reviews for this place.
