Great location! With a beautiful promenade. The room had a good size and we had a nice sea view 🌊 from our balcony. There is an indoor and outdoor pool (not heated), billiard and table tennis 🏓 activities. The room was very clean! The staff in all departments were very professional, friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of tasty food options. The animator (Ms. Alegria) did a great job during the entertainment sessions with the children 👍.
This is the 2nd year that I come in this hotel with my family. The rooms are large with available fridge and clim. The staff is very kind as usual. For our arrival we had as usual gift of fruits and wine in our room. The hotel has changed the owners and this I can say that the quality of the kitchen has changed. There is no more disco for kifs which was sooo disappointing for our child. That was a great activity for a family hotel The breakfast is ALWAYS THE SAME. We attempted to dinner once and never returned. For 9 days never seen anything different in the breakfast menu. The meals wasn’t attractive (point of view) but what I didn’t appreciate was the barbecue. The steak I received was not well done( as soon as I cut it there was a blood coming out of the meat. The eggs on the breakfast had weird bleu parts. In the past there were different kind of ice creams as dessert, chocolate fondue with fruits (now nothing of that). We preferred eating outside for the rest of our 8 nights. Beaches in front of of the hotels are terrible but if you walk 15 min you reach the beach of Cala Millor which is great.
The location is excellent, but the hotel absolutely does not live up to its 4-star rating — at best, it’s a 2-star. The rooms are old and worn, with scuffed walls. The two-room suite for two adults and a child was very cramped, and the balcony was so small that two people could barely turn around on it. The bathroom lacked basic amenities — we were given only one small bar of hand soap for three people for an entire week. Instead of toilet paper, there were rough gray napkins. The cups and saucers in the room were dirty, with coffee and tea stains left by previous guests — we had to wash everything ourselves. The air conditioning is a whole separate issue — it’s just vents in the ceiling, and when it’s on, cold air blows directly onto your face while you’re lying in bed. As a result, we ended up getting sick. The breakfast buffet was very repetitive — the same dishes were served every day for seven days with no variation. The food at the restaurant on the summer terrace was disappointing. On the first day, I ordered a pizza for my child and a sandwich, but neither were tasty, and we didn’t return to eat there again. One highlight was the staff — the room was cleaned well, everyone was very friendly, and the bartender was always welcoming. There was also lovely live music in the evenings. Another plus is the surrounding area — there are many restaurants and shops nearby, and free parking is available. However, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation and updates. The pools had such a strong chlorine smell that we didn’t dare to swim in them. The beach directly across from the hotel is small and poorly maintained — full of seaweed and a strong sewage odor. Fortunately, about a 10-minute walk away, there’s a beautiful, crystal-clear beach at Cala Millor, which we ended up going to instead.
