Caesar Metro Taipei

Great location — the hotel is situated directly above Wanhua Station, and it's also within walking distance to Longshan Temple MRT Station, offering easy access to the rest of Taipei. It’s close to Guangzhou Street Night Market, a vibrant area full of local street food and traditional charm — perfect for evening exploration. From the hotel, it’s just one MRT stop to Ximending and two stops to Taipei Main Station, making it an ideal base for both sightseeing and transport connections. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed, with a wide open view that made the stay even more relaxing. Facilities were excellent, including a fitness center and a swimming pool. Staff were genuinely courteous and helpful, making the overall experience warm and welcoming. A fantastic choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great value in Taipei.

After months of booking and cancelling and choosing for hotel options for our Taipei trip, I finally booked 6 nights with Caesar Metro Taipei because of its price, location, good reviews, and facilities. My family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children ages 11, 8, and 4yo had a pleasant stay in the hotel's Family Suite. It has 2 queen sized beds (150x200cm), 4 pillows and 2 comforters. We asked for an extra pillow and comforter and they were given right away. There is free drinking water in the 19th floor where we stayed and we refilled ice for our water bottles from the 17th floor where they have an icemaker. They will not deliver to your door. The beds are comfortable and the sofa in our room had very good cushion and not sagging. The CR had a Japanese toilet (we all enjoyed it) and a spacious bath tub with an incredible view of the mountains surrounding Taipei. I had to buy several bath bombs from Don Don Donki in Ximending to further enjoy the tub for my children. The shower has good pressure but you have to wait a few minutes for the water to become warm/hot. Room and CR were clean but there is a bit of dust on some surfaces. We had a bad experience during check in. We were there at 3pm but we only had our room at 430pm. They gave us 4 Starbucks GCs (4 drinks you can redeem at the 5f where they have an automatic coffee machine of Starbucks beans) and we were allowed to check out one hour later on our departure date. So instead of 12nn, we can check out at 1pm because of their delay in check in. The hotel is in a quiet area but we greatly benefited from its location that is only 2 min walk from the TRA Wanhua station that is only one station away from Taipei Main Station. Because of this, we never used Uber or taxi. My family and I used the metro and the bus in our entire stay! I loved the experience. The bus station is right in front of the hotel's side entrance. There are also lots of options in google maps to commute because the hotel has a great location. Overall, I will really recommend this hotel because of its cleanliness, safety, excellent room layout, room views, location (you can use the TRA until 12mn which is useful if you are visiting night markets), and luxurious feel (lobby entrance, clean elevators and hallways) of the hotel. Booked a triple room for 3 nights, the rooms are pretty spacious. The toilet and bathroom were separated which makes it convenient for us. Location was pretty good too, right beside a train station and not too far away from the attractions. Overall a nice stay!
