Alex Ramon's magic show We had the chance to see Alex Ramon’s magic show at Caesars Republic and it was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we walked away impressed and would highly recommend his show to anyone looking for a memorable evening. What stood out most was the way Alex was able to draw people out of their usual mindset and expectations. His performance doesn’t just amaze with sleight of hand—it creates a genuine sense of wonder, excitement, and joy. He has a unique ability to help people let go of judgments and simply enjoy the moment. Our friends invited us along and we’re so glad we went. It was a refreshing, fun, and captivating experience—perfect for anyone who wants to try something new and truly enjoy their night in Tahoe.
Nice rooms, but can be a little pricey. The hallway floor was littered with garbage, which was odd, maybe a one off since there was a concert that night. Room was clean, but even the floor in the room seemed to have been missed. Always be aware that it's hard to hire people to do these jobs though, and workforces ebb and flow. This was just my limited experience at this hotel. I'd come back for a day trip for some gambling and the arcade looked great for kiddos.
Caution!! This place will change your credit card every single day your there with random charges. Our first day they double charged for the indicidental fees. We were there 3 nights and everyday I had some random charge on my card. They told me it was their system that does it. They charge $17 a day for parking. Not included in resort fee. They don't tell you about when you check in. One more thing. They have a snack and beverage tray that is weighted in the room so if you pick something up on that tray you will be paying for it even if you didn't eat or drink it. The hotel was nice. Staff was nice but the surprise charges were not so nice. I would of had a better time if they didn't have my credit card held up on charges that were not made by me!!! Won't stay here again.....oh and the jacuzzi isn't working and pool is ok...nothing special
