Cahernane House Hotel

This is THE place to stay in Killarney. You can pay 200+ for hotels with vinyl bathroom floors, tiny rooms, and wannabe decor or you can stay at Cahernane House for just a wee bit more and have a wildly beautiful stay. This hotel is refined yet unpretentious. Their staff actually has hospitality training and pride in serving customers. The grounds are breathtaking, the antiques are real, and the history is evident. The spaces around the hotel draw you in as if you were back in time. The Cellar Bar’s lead server, Todd, makes you feel at home and truly part of an experience unobtained elsewhere. We can’t say enough great things about the service, the food, the ambiance, and the location. BOOK it without hesitation!!

Cahernane House Hotel in Killarney is a slice of paradise! This elegant Victorian manor, nestled just off Killarney National Park, exudes timeless charm with its grand chandeliers, gilt-framed portraits, and cozy fireplaces. The tree-lined driveway sets a magical tone, and the Junior Suite in the Garden Wing was a standout—spacious, luxurious, with plush bedding and thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine and charming blue-and-white china. The grounds are breathtaking, with lush lawns, views of the Purple Mountains, and wildlife like deer adding to the serene vibe. Perfectly positioned for exploring Killarney’s natural wonders

Away from, yet close by, the hustle and bustle of Killarney, Cahernane House was a delightful place for my wife and I to base ourselves as we toured Killarney, Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry, and other historical sites. The staff at Cahernane were all friendly, highly professional, and attentive - from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff to the wait staff in the restaurants. The grounds offer a pleasant place to stroll, parking is easy, and the history of the House surrounds you. Five stars!
