Cairns Colonial Club Resort

Older resort that was refurbished 8-9 years ago. Rooms were well presented, clean, neat and comfortable. Pizza restaurant was good, nice pizza. Photos were taken on last morning as we were leaving, hence empty. Would happily stay here again, despite it being a bit out of town.

We had a great stay at Cairns Colonial Club, it was perfect for our little family of 3 including a toddler. We had a small kitchenette and a second room. The staff were friendly and really helpful, even going above and beyond to replace our voucher that was stolen. The restaurants on the property are good for quick meals and we enjoyed the food. The pools are awesome, our toddler loved playing in the sand on the side of the main pool. The room was a little dark, but that’s the only thing we could fault! It was clean and tidy and the newly renovated bathroom and shower were great. Would stay again!

Never have I had a more disgusting Hotel experience as I have here. The floors in our room were so dirty that you could not walk on them without your feet becoming blackened with filth. Hair from previous guests clogging both the shower and the basin and dust filled extractor fan in bathroom. Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable than the poor quality mattresses and gritty sheets we experienced. Ants trailed in the kitchen and was really just the final touch that made me so appreciative we were camping the following days.
