The staffs at the front-desk and the bars were friendly and lovely to talk to. Foods and cocktails were great too. Had a great stay here. 15-20 minutes walk to the night market, you can cross the road and you’re at the Esplanade. The hotel offered complimentary shuttle to the city if you’re feeling lazy to walk.

We are locals and just needed an overnight - with little availability in cairns we booked here and what a great find. Well staffed with a super helpful and friendly team. Our room was huge and super clean. The pool has a great view of the esplanade. Gifts in the room (I mentioned it was a birthday) and a reasonable rate. Definitely recommend and will definitely use it again. Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed here for a few days for an event. The room was not properly cleaned. Wet towels and the bath rug were left unchanged, even though I had requested housekeeping and placed the designated sign on the door. They also remade the same bed I had slept in the night before, rather than changing the linens. After sleeping in the "cleaned" bed, I experienced itchiness. There were some leaks in the sink and bathtub, and the trash was not disposed. One young male hotel/restaurant staff member was quite rude, speaking in a dismissive and condescending tone. This was evident when I went to the bar to order dinner. The waiter asked for my meal voucher (from the event), and I explained it was in my room and that I would return with it. After retrieving the voucher, I queued again and asked him to process the order. He told me to sit and wait, but after 15–20 minutes, the food never arrived. My friend later noticed an unclaimed cheeseburger at the counter, which he believed was mine, but the waiter never informed me or called my name. I understand the hotel team was busy, but the situation could have been handled more respectfully.
