Very nice stay. Quiet, clean, and large rooms. The AC is cold. Close to walking paths. Friendly staff. If I had to complain about anything, I would like a full size fridge to go with the kitchen. We would stay here again.
My second time staying here and I absolutely love! Beautiful rooms, good location, very friendly staff, comfortable facilities and always very clean!! It really has a nice nostalgic 2000s feel to it which I love. Probably my favourite place to stay in Cairns! Don’t change anytime soon CQ!!
It was noisy at the front end of the hotel. The toiletries weren't filled up in our room and the body wash dispenser was broken. The bed felt like it wasnt level and on a slope. Looked under and it was two single bases and a double mattress on top. Terrible nights of sleep. They introduced a no smoking policy between us booking and the time we came to stay. Absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property. We had booked on a balcony to smoke. That's okay but no smoking anywhere. A bit short sighted in policy to have no smoking across the whole property , as the only place you can smoke is out the front either standing or sitting in the gutter. Made us feel like lepers but also made the front entrance a bit gross for new patrons just starting their stay. I recommend creating a smoking area. I won't stay again.
