Cairns Sheridan Hotel

We loved this hotel! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, large, and nice and new looking. Room service was great with only a $3 service charge. We had to leave early in the morning so we were able to arrange breakfast to go boxes to pick up at reception. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night after a late flight. Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We would definately stay again without a doubt.

I stayed here for three nights. While the rooms were reasonably clean, the shower definitely needed an upgrade — the shower head didn’t work properly and teh whole place felt outdated. Breakfast was a crime against bacon — overcooked to the point of resembling leather. Think also canned apricots and baked beans. I paid for three days of breakfast but didn’t return after day two. The coffee was awful. The pool was more ornamental than functional, and the stairway leading to it reminded me of the grimy stairwells in Wilson’s parking lots in inner Sydney. The hotel itself is also quite a hike from the town centre. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
