The staff is exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to cater to your every need. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner, a delightful aperitif, or a memorable private event, I highly recommend this enchanting destination for an unforgettable stay.
I recently stayed at the Cala del Porto hotel in July 2024 and I could not be more impressed. The location is a tranquil, serene bay on the Tuscan coast, offering incredible views of the sea from the balcony of our elegant room. Each morning began with an excellent breakfast featuring a delightful assortment of salmon, jamón, cheeses, yogurt, strawberries, pineapple, and more. The friendly and attentive staff made our stay even more enjoyable, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Evenings were particularly magical, as we watched the setting sun transform the sky into a canvas of vibrant colours! Truly a moment of bliss. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting the beautiful Cala del Porto hotel. It's a perfect destination for anyone seeking relaxation and luxury on the Tuscan coast.
Elegant Setting, Exceptional Service — Excited to See What’s Next Cala del Porto enjoys a stunning setting and timeless charm. We were told it once attracted royalty and celebrities — and you can see why. The hotel appears to have recently changed hands and is clearly still in a period of transition. While refurbishment and service improvements take time, there’s real evidence of effort and investment. The staff were warm, attentive, and eager to help throughout our stay. Virgilio was a standout — his service was thoughtful, friendly, and professional. Gabriel was also fantastic — so kind and helpful, whether driving us, fixing things in our room, or helping with the TV. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. Dinner at Belvedere was a real highlight: refined dishes and a peaceful setting. The new chef seems to be bringing a real sense of energy and finesse. Cristina, the manager, introduced herself and welcomed our feedback with professionalism and care — which we really appreciated. Some parts of the hotel are being refreshed, while others — such as the foyer of the new wing — felt oddly styled and might benefit from a more modern, simplified look. It feels like Cala del Porto is in the early stages of a thoughtful revival — and we wish them every success in the journey.
