Cala Gat

This is deffinately the best hotel we experience during our three weeks' holiday on the island of Mallorca. From the moment you step through the entrance door you feel at home. There are rooms overlooking the restaurant or pool and rooms facing the little garden, the road down to the beach and the pine forest opposite. Rooms a nicly decorated, the beds very comfortable, lovely balcony with a table/chairs and drying rack. The bathroom was spacious with bath/shower and even a bidet (loving it!). There was never a problem to get a sunbed at the pool, so no need to reserve one with your towel before breakfast. There is a small beach just a couple of walking minutes away from the hotel which is very crowded during high season and on weekends. The hotel is located a liitle bit outside of Cala Ratjada, so very quiet. There is a lovely promenade starting at the beach leading to the town. The service by Maria, Antonia, Tania and their colleagues and the wonderful variety of food at breakfat and dinner (thank you chef!) were a highlight of our stay. Big thank you to all the staff at Hotel Cala Gat for making our stay such a special one. Can't wait to be back!

Lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was wonderful with great selection. Pool area is well maintained. Note that it is not located on or even in view of Cala Gat. You have to walk the road and then around the corner to get there. Free parking on site. Front desk speaks multiple languages: Spanish, English, German, French and Italian.
