Caldera Creta Paradise

My husband and I spent a lovely one-week holiday at Caldera Crete Paradise Hotel, and overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. What truly stood out to us was the exceptional service – especially at reception. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They assisted us with everything from check-in to recommending the best local beaches, and really made us feel at home. Their friendliness and professionalism made a big difference in our stay. One thing future guests should be aware of is the daily tax charge. We were surprised to be charged €10 per day, which added up to €70 for our 7-night stay. It’s not something we were clearly informed about in advance, so I’d recommend that the hotel and booking agencies be more transparent about this cost – it can be quite a shock at the start of your holiday. The food at the hotel was generally good. However, during the barbecue night, some items like the chicken and prawns were overcooked. It’s a minor issue, but a bit more attention to the preparation would make the dining experience even better. Despite these small drawbacks, I am very pleased with our stay. The staff were outstanding, the hotel was comfortable and clean, and Crete is a beautiful destination. I would definitely recommend this hotel– just be mindful of the additional tax when planning your budget.

A very beautiful and comfortable hotel. With beautiful surroundings where you can find any entertainment. Clean rooms and with a beautiful view. Very friendly staff and good food make us feel very pampered. The buffet with such good food and always full thanks to the staff but also Frida, a girl from the kitchen staff. We really enjoyed our stay at Caldera Paradise. The hotel was clean and beautiful, with great housekeeping and a big variety of tasty food for all meals. The pools were large and fun for all ages, and the private beach with free sunbeds was a big plus. Special thanks to the hotel manager Irini for making our stay extra special with her warm and helpful attitude. Highly recommended!
