Camar Resort Langkawi

Had a wonderful stay at Camar Resort. The room was very clean, and bed was extremely comfortable which made for a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent and the pool was spotless and very well maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend.

Excellent stay! Deposit was requested to be paid additionally at the hotel and was refunded in full. Stayed in pool view room and the Rooms and restrooms were clean. No complaints Great location ! There can be better breakfast options since it’s almost the same everyday There was some smell outside the beachside restaurant may be due to drainage mixing up in the sea. Otherwise it’s best. Overall pleasant stay!

Unprofessional Staff, Surprise Charges, Poor Maintenance & Underwhelming Breakfast – Not Worth the Stay While the property looked promising at first, our overall experience was deeply disappointing, especially towards the end of our stay. At checkout, we were unexpectedly charged 65 ringgit for a small stain on the bedsheet—something that was clearly washable and minor, not deserving of such a heavy fine. To make it worse, this charge was only brought up after we had checked out, giving us no opportunity to verify or discuss it. The whole process felt shady and completely unprofessional. On top of that, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, showing no basic courtesy or respect while we tried to seek clarification. This level of arrogance and lack of communication is simply not acceptable in the hospitality industry. There were also maintenance issues in the room, most notably the bathroom sink, which was broken and kept clogging repeatedly during our stay. It made using the space unhygienic and uncomfortable—something you'd never expect from a paid hotel room. To top it all off, the breakfast spread was extremely limited and underwhelming. There were barely any options, and the quality of food did not match the standard the property tries to project. What could have been a pleasant trip was completely overshadowed by poor service, bad communication, and lack of basic standards. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Until then, I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting professionalism, cleanliness, or value for money.
