Camara Suites

Most beautiful small boutique hotel in Greece so far. The appartments interior is extremely tastefull, breakfast is top notch. View is amazing. The lady at the reception is very nice and always helpfull. Full recommendation.

It’s an old converted mansion which is beautifully renovated. However, this means that the staircase is narrow, which may pose a problem for people with larger suitcases. The location is great, taking the best of both worlds in terms of view and access to the shops/restaurants. We stayed in the room for 5 people (odysseus) and I wouldn’t say the room was big enough for 5 adults. The terrace area is large, and has a nice view. The service was great - the receptionist was friendly and helpful. They cleaned our room everyday, and the amenities were great as well. On a day with calm seas, they have 2 canoes available for use. It was slightly difficult to access and is probably made for one person per boat (we went with 2 each), but it was great fun. One point to keep in mind is that the breakfast is included, but it is not buffet style. However, the food was great, and most of the ingredients were locally sourced.

We had a really delightful stay at Camara Suites. We stayed in the Odysseus suite which is just like the pictures online: the balcony is huge and gets a great view of the sea. The hotel is in the best location possible. A short walk in one direction (with no stairs!) to the main "strip" full of cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. A minute in the other direction and you can swim next to the castle ruins. Ine was such an amazing & kind host. She made us feel at home right away, and on hand for absolutely anything we needed. She also gave us advice on where to visit, made restaurant reservations, provided beach umbrella/chairs, not to mention brought us the tastiest breakfast each morning at a time of our choosing! We'll definitely return. Thank you Ine!
