Cambana La Rivière Hotel

A really great hotel! The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast included in our room rate, and we ate both lunch and dinner from the restaurant too, great food. For me, the friendliness of the staff was one of the highlights. Without fail, you are greeted by everyone with a smile. Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you’ll appreciate how convenient everything is. The staff were one of the highlights of the stay. From check-in to check-out, they were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. They offered great local recommendations and were quick to respond to any requests or questions we had. It’s always nice to feel genuinely welcomed when you arrive somewhere, and that was definitely the case here. The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. While not luxurious, it was more than adequate for the price point. The overall value is solid—reasonable rates, good amenities, and a reliable level of service. The free Wi-Fi worked well, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping. If you’re looking for a well-located hotel with great service and a good return for your money, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay again.

We were a little disappointed with this hotel. It was on the wrong side of the river and quite out of the way. The pools were nice and it was quite cool having a 1st floor pool that overlooked the ground floor pool. Sadly we had one of the bedrooms that didn’t over look either pool. The room was spacious and the blackout curtains effective. However the air con unit had the temperature illuminated and this kept our son awake. The bathroom was OK and there was a good selection of toiletries. When we went to breakfast on the first morning we were shocked to find ants in the cereal and disappointed that the orange juice was actually more like squash and the pastries were stale. I’m afraid I don’t think that I could recommend this hotel.
