Excellent Food ,very good hospitality. Good value for money and highly recommended. Nearby places to visit are very limited Activity area is good. Then there are few area of improvements also 1 Our rooms were downgraded stating fact that hotel is completely booked , whereas it was not. Probably some last mini cancellation. My expectation is , in such scenario they should consider option to upgrade us to original need. 2 The area near swimming pool was having bad smell , which they should work upon 3 There was a long unavailability of TV cable, in such case they should have option of music availability to engage guests. Specially when u have very limited guests its very much possible. 4 Carpets were not clean and only one lift operational If abovepoints will be worked upon it will be a very good place.

We as a family with our 2 months old kid stayed here for one night in April 2019. Parking place is ample so no issue here. When we entered the hotel, AC was not working in the lobby. They don't have central AC system in this 4 star hotel. Check in took around 15 minutes although we were the only one to check in. The corridor on the third floor was dirty, I mean the carpet was loose and not vacuumed. I booked executive room. The living room lacked proper furniture and TV. I expected a sofa set with a center table and a TV at least, as I get everywhere, but here only one chair and one small table was there. The kitchen area had a small refrigerator (empty, didn't expected from 4 star hotel) and a kettle. No cooking hot plate, no utensils. So, I didn't understood the concept of providing a kitchen area. The bedroom was spacious. Now, first lights didn't turned on, then AC was not working, then TV was not working and the room key also didn't worked. First the boys tried to solve the issue, then after some time a lady came and promptly called everyone and solved all the issue. The AC was still not cooling. We called the AC guy twice. We had to change the room to standard room at 5 in the morning as we got up all wet. In this new room, they switched off the electricity at 9 in the morning. There was no hot water as I guess they do not have a central water heating system. The phone was not working in this room so couldn't complain about both. Otherwise this standard room was good enough. Food in the restaurant was good although buffet was not served as there were hardly 10 people in the hotel. We were alone on the third floor. Apart from all this, the pool was dirty. Reception area floor was not cleaned properly. I guess they sweep once in the morning and thats it. There was electricity cut about 5-7 times in a single evening. It took 15 minutes to switch on the generator. The staff is local although tried to help, but due to so many issues, the rating goes down. Earlier I stayed at Ramada and I recommend you go for Ramada rather than staying here at Campbay. Overall, I give a 2 star for my overall experience. Except the building, there is nothing that you can call 4 star.

Shocking lack of even the most basic amenities. Staff unable to handle guests and clearly overwhelmed. Avoid this place at all costs. They took 3 HOURS to check us in despite booking and paying in advance. We arrived just before 3 PM and finally got rooms at 6 PM. Oh, and half the rooms overlook a burial ground with the room windows frosted out to provide any view of the outside. Don't ruin your vacation/stay. Steer well clear. See some self explanatory pictures. Can't capture the stink that many areas have too. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Recommendation: But a tent from Decathlon and sleep anywhere BUT here.
