5 Stars – A True Gem in the Heart of Detroit From the moment I stepped into Cambria Hotel Detroit, I was blown away by the exceptional hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and cared for—every interaction was warm, professional, and sincere. The rooms are simply stunning—modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the stylish decor, felt elevated and intentional. And the cleanliness? Impeccable. You can tell the housekeeping team takes real pride in their work. Cielo Rooftop deserves its own round of applause. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bartender was top-tier, mixing cocktails that were just as impressive as the view. This hotel is truly a gem in the city of Detroit. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Cambria delivers luxury, convenience, and a vibe that feels uniquely Detroit. I can't wait to return.
Bed extremely comfortable and room very clean. Blackout shades were top tier. Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant and attentive. Rooms very spacious. No microwave in room or on floor. Shower area has some rust spots. Not sure if blue tooth mirror was inoperable or l didn't know how to work it. No room service.
The stay was not luxurious nor pleasant. The hotel had an odor of musk and food that lingered the whole stay. The floors had spills and remain sticky the entire three days. No one mopped the entire stay. Could never get fresh towels when asked for and when we finally did they were dirty! The rooms were not well equipped. No microwave. No iron board but there was an iron. No make up mirror…no bottled water. The sink was clogged and it just did not meet the standards of a luxury hotel. Also the coffee shop is horrible as well. Not a real coffee cafe serving premium lattes and pastries. The only good thing about the stay was the one bell hop with lots, he was very courteous, helpful and polite. I wish I could remember his name. They need to have better management of housekeeping, a better coffee house, and equip the rooms better including buy more towels.
