We had a great stay! The location was perfect. We walked to Broadway and all the downtown sites easily. We actually never got our car from the valet. On arrival the service at the desk and valet was “okay” but Patrick was great on our way out! The pool was nice and food from the bar was great. The bartender (guy with a beard) on Sunday 7/6 was great! The only thing to suggest… the hot water and water pressure were lacking.

I loved this place! Sitting by the rooftop pool, listening to the live music coming from the bar… perfect! We arrived after a long road trip and used valet for our car. At checkout, they brought it back and to our surprise they had cleaned the outside of the windshield- fresh and ready for the long road home! Minor details like that don’t take much effort, but they make all the difference between a good hotel and a guest favorite!! Thank you Andrew and staff for making this a great stay!

Lively Vibe, Lovely Staff—but the Strangest Room Layout I’ve Ever Seen There’s no denying the Cambria Hotel Downtown Nashville has great energy. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive—truly a highlight of the stay. The two restaurants on-site offered not just great food, but also live music that added to the dynamic, upbeat atmosphere. It’s a great place to be if you want to immerse yourself in the downtown hustle and bustle. Even our conference room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable for meetings. That said, my guest room left me scratching my head. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the back of the headboard. The bed is positioned facing a window that overlooks a parking lot—not exactly a pleasant or functional view. The space felt poorly designed, with the TV awkwardly mounted far to the left, making it uncomfortable to watch from bed. There’s also no proper table or comfortable chair—just a makeshift bench area and a small desk shoved against a speaker-patterned wall. I had work to do, but the dim lighting and lack of workspace made it very difficult to be productive. The decor leans heavily into an industrial music theme, which might appeal to some, but the overall room layout just doesn’t make sense for functionality or comfort. Bottom line: The hotel nails the Nashville vibe with great staff, fun restaurants, and a central location—but the room design was a major letdown. If you’re coming strictly for leisure and don’t plan to spend much time in your room, you might love it. If you’re hoping to work or relax in your space, be prepared for an unusual and not-so-user-friendly setup.
