Cambridge Suites

We recently stayed at Cambridge Suites Toronto and had a great experience from start to finish. The location is ideal—right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Our suite was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering a comfortable home base during our stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. We appreciated the little touches like the in-room amenities and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return on our next trip to Toronto. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel last week for 4 nights. While it could benefit from a bit of a refresh, it remains a great option in the heart of downtown if you’re looking for a quiet, clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable! From the housekeeping staff to the front desk and nighttime security, everyone was respectful and courteous. The hotel has rules in place that, in my opinion, help ensure a secure environment and a restful night’s sleep, something that can be hard to find in a loud and hectic city like Toronto. If you’re looking for a place to party or entertain non-guests in your room, this may not be the right fit. But if you value peace, comfort, and professionalism, this is a solid choice. I recently stayed at Cambridge Suites Hotel in Toronto from August 1st–3rd (two nights) and wanted to share how dissatisfied we were with our experience. The room and lobby did not match the pictures we saw online, and the bathroom looked completely different than advertised. We had issues turning on the shower and, despite multiple calls to the front desk, no one assisted us or followed up. In addition, my room keys repeatedly stopped working and had to be reset several times. When coming and going at night, the security and manager at the front desk were rude and made us feel unsafe. We were repeatedly required to say our full names and room number—sometimes in front of other guests and even people outside the building. As a group of women traveling together, we felt targeted and uncomfortable that this personal information was being spoken aloud. With the front door already secured by key card access, this seemed unnecessary and invasive. To make matters worse, there were multiple naked individuals wandering outside the building at night, which added to our discomfort and sense of insecurity. Overall, the rooms were not as described, the staff was unhelpful, and the environment felt unsafe. This was not the experience we expected and staff won’t resolve this issue after multiple emails.
