Cameo Beach Resort

We had a really great time at this hotel! The hotel made a very good impression on us from the very beginning - everything was well organized, clean and pleasant. The room was fine - spacious, clean, cleaned every day, perfect for relaxing after a day full of excitement. The swimming pool was amazing - large, clean, with comfortable sun loungers, on which you can really relax. We spent many pleasant moments there! The only thing that could be slightly improved is a greater variety of food - especially breakfasts could be a bit more diverse, because after a few days they become a bit monotonous. Despite this, everything was tasty and fresh, and the restaurant staff took great care of the order and atmosphere. The greatest advantage of this place is undoubtedly the service - the people who work there are absolutely amazing! Special thanks to Mrs. Klaudia from the reception - always smiling, helpful, cordial and full of professionalism. The manager also made a huge impression on us - a man with a big heart, who will not only help in every situation, but also willingly talk, especially about the championship and gym 😉. It is people like this who create the atmosphere of this place! We cannot fail to mention the waiters, bartenders and cleaning ladies - they were all extremely polite, friendly and committed. You can see that they like their job and care about making their guests feel good. This approach really makes a difference. The hotel is very close to the sea - it takes literally a few minutes to get there. The beach itself may not be very big, but that does not bother you at all - you can walk along the coast, there are many shops, restaurants and places to visit in the area. The location is really very convenient. To sum up - the stay in this hotel was very successful. This is a place we would gladly return to and which we can recommend to everyone with a clear conscience. Perfect both for relaxation and as a base for exploring the area. When we arrived at the hotel we were able to check in straight away which was great, we were shown to our room which was extremely small and smelt of damp and of smoke (we had emailed them to ask for a large room but we never received a reply) However when we informed the helpful ladies at the reception we weren’t happy with the room , the manager showed us to a much larger family room which was clean and modern, and moved us very quickly. The location of the hotel is fantastic it’s right on the beach overlooking cameo island , the beach is very small but is still beautiful and you can choose to go swimming in the pool or the sea which is wonderful. There are some lovely bars and restaurants near the hotel , or the laganas strip is 5/10 mins in a taxi which is €12. The food in restaurant is very good for a basic all inclusive we didn’t go hungry, however I would say it’s needs to be a lot warmer. All the staff in the restaurant are extremely helpful and very friendly they made us feel very welcome. The hotel has 2 pools , the pool facing the sea is better in our opinion. The ladies at reception are fantastic and very helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, however pool towels are charged to use, which is normal, however you aren’t allowed 2 fresh ones half way through your holiday without a charge which is very unusual as we have always been able to swap them at least once for fresh ones in other hotels. I would say the hotel is more like a good 3star all inclusive rather than a 4star as we have stayed in better 4 star hotels, however it’s very good value for money and we would stay again but I would choose a large room with sea view next time. From pictures very nice hotel , but living there you wish to end vacation .. terrible smell in rooms , terible food and unpleasend staff .. when we first came in our room , the shower was no working so staff replace it for some old shower head and it start leaking .. pool was really cold hole time.. And also first day they dont have space for us , so we was switched to different hotel for 3 days ( but on the end the hotel was much nicer ) Room - 2/5 Food - 1/5 Drinks - 2/5 Staff - 2/5
