Campo Dell'Oro

A very very nice hotel, near to the beach. Super friendly staff, a star worth kitchen, nice a d stylish interior, big and clean rooms. It is absolutely worth giving it a try! I used as well one of the meeting rooms to give a training, which was perfectly prepared. Dear team of Campo dell Oro, you really do a great job. I will return for sure!

What an amazing and wonderful time I had here. Myself and wife stayed here recently for our honeymoon and it was my first time abroad from Ireland. Think of it like this, flying scares me but the journey when I reached this hotel and Corsica was absolutely worth it. It is close to the airport and very convenient but you cannot hear the airplanes and very peaceful. It is in Ricantu but very close to Ajjaccio. The train which is easily accessed behind the hotel can take you to Ajjaccio in just 7 minutes or further into Corsica if you like. We visited Corte which is beautiful. This was recommended to us by the lady at reception. She was very helpful indeed, friendly. I like to try speaking French and even though I had a choice to speak English the lady at reception helped me speak French and was very encouraging😁. All the staff were great. The food, pool, bar, restaurant, location just everything was perfect! We were very lucky with the beautiful weather all week in August. Breakfast outside in the morning was lovely. Corsica in general looks beautiful and the people are very friendly. Would I return to this hotel? Yes indeed I absolutely would and highly recommend it. If you read about Corsica being very expensive, not true! I found the prices no different from the UK or Ireland. Thank you Hotel Campo Dell'Oro for a wonderful time🙏.

Room with sea view and restaurant food are okay, nothing spectacular. Beach access is a little tricky - the walkable underpass seems dirty and dicey, with scattered broken glass, small garbage and graffiti on the sidewall. Swimming pool is functional.
