Stayed twice (2 nights and 1 night) in March 2025. Location is excellent, near plenty of shops and restaurants, as well as the pier for my cruise ship. Check in and out was efficient but the attitude of the front desk staff was a bit cold. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though could do with more hangers and some wall hooks. Breakfast was tasty with more than adequate variety. Hotel had several large areas with comfortable sofas and chairs, as well as power points, to wait in between check out and cruise ship embarkation and between cruise ship disembarkation and check in. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 5 nights. The whole place needs a complete refurb. Incredibly loud hotel, zero soundproofing whatsoever so you get woken up at 6am by the first door slam. The slams continue between 6-9am, then again 10-11pm when people come back from dinner. Room service poor - empty cups and dishes weren’t removed for days (see photo). Breakfast not good at all, limited choice. In the evening I asked for hot water to make tea, was charged $3. The spa felt dirty, no lockers in changing rooms (sorry this is not a high trust environment, so to assume that is delusional). Rude red-haired lady on reception. Only positive was the comfortable bed, and location is ideal. Would not be back.

The room was fine (a bit sad about the awful view of the back alley though) and the location was obviously perfect because it’s the main hotel right by the water and in the middle of town However, knowing it’s a 4 stars hotel, I really expected more from the employees: zero effort was made to speak English when we were struggling with our Spanish (they could speak/understand English but just seemed not to want to?) and no questions about our stay were asked. I don’t even think they said Thank You? As for the female employee working evenings at the restaurant, how do I start!?? We went 3 times during our stay and so it definitely was not a matter of someone having a bad day! I don’t think I have ever seen a more unfriendly employee and with an attitude that says « I hate this job and all of you staying here! ». On the first night, she spent all her time chatting with a man at the bar and barely acknowledged us. She was obviously annoyed we wanted to order something and let us know clearly every night by slamming the wine glasses on the table while giving us the meanest look I have ever seen. Wow, please reconsider keeping this woman on your staff or maybe remind her that we are paying her paycheck and that, without guests, she would not have a job! We stayed there January 18-21, 2025 and so I’m thinking you can easily find out who she was but then she was the only female employee we saw every evening. As for your Front Desk employees, maybe consider telling them to act a little more helpful when guests have questions and more professional at checkout by asking how everything was? I mean, it’s a 4 stars hotel after all!
