Canareef Resort Maldives

The staff really make this place, the team clearly work long hours some starting with a 7.30 am stretching class (which I loved and he really helped me with an injury I’d picked up recently) to aqua aerobics at 11am, then offering excursions through the day (again loved the snorkelling and night fishing) to offering simple but fun evening entertainment. There isn’t anything negative you can say about any of them. Everyone at the resort seems to work so hard, yet always so friendly and helpful from the buggy team to house keeping and the restaurant staff. Special mention to Leon in the restaurant, for a young lad he really does offer outstanding service. I’ve had an outstanding stay and truly so sad to leave. See you all soon x

🌴 A Perfect Stay at Canareef Resort Maldives 🌴 We originally booked 2 nights at Canareef Resort but ended up extending our stay by another 3 nights — that’s how much we enjoyed it. Honestly, I could easily spend 15 nights here and never get bored. The resort offers so much more than just beautiful beaches. There are vibrant coral reefs with colorful fish, tennis courts, a gym, pools by the bars, a great selection of excursions, a relaxing wellness & spa center, and an above-standard variety of food at breakfast and dinner. We stayed in a Premium Villa with Jacuzzi, which was both luxurious and very comfortable. The service was simply outstanding — our villa was always spotless, and the water, coffee, and tea were constantly replenished. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed — with a fresh coconut drink in hand and a personal welcome message in our room written with natural materials. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. A special thank you goes to Millie from Kenya, the best receptionist ever — warm, cheerful, full of positive energy, and always ready to help. She truly made our experience unforgettable. Canareef is a hidden gem — peaceful, spacious, and full of tropical charm. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a more authentic and relaxed Maldives experience. 💛 Jozef & Michaela

I had a great time at Canareef Resort Hotel. The location was very beautiful, the sand was white powder and the sea was very blue. It was very good value for money compared to other resorts. The welcome during and after the transfer was excellent. I enjoyed the ability to use bikes for free to explore the resort. My only issue was that I paid for all inclusive because I do like to drink alcohol. However, the drinks were incredibly weak and watery, so not much alcohol could have been in them. I also did not enjoy the included wine. Other than that, I had no problems. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to take part kn their weekly optional beach clean to improve the environment.
