Canberra Furnished Accommodation

This is the only place I book when staying in Canberra now. It is a home away from home for me! As a contractor, I spend 3-6 months a year working remotely. Canberra Furnished Apartments always makes my trips to Canberra feel like home. The rooms are comfortable, competitively priced, self contained, very clean and centrally located to the City. The office staff are very helpful and accommodating where/when possible...even with all my last minute requests. Highly recommend to anyone considering staying here!

Edit: Now for the surprise. A month after leaving management charged my credit card an extra $52 because "I exceeded their weekly electricity allowance" in one 2 month period (we were there for almost 6 months). They put us in one of the coldest south facing rooms, over winter, and the only heating we used was their reverse cycle airconditioner. Also, whilst there we were not given the opportunity to read the electricity meters ourselves, so we had no way of checking our usage. It has certainly left a sour taste in my mouth that they could be so stingy considering the very large amount of rent we paid over the six months we were there. On the plus side and as part of my original review, the place was nice, modern and secure and the local staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although the room was presented well, a terrible musty smell of mound was present which I thought might go with some air. It persisted, even with the door open and caused me headaches and made it extremely unpleasant to stay. Since I had a young child I didn't opt to stay on. When I asked to leave early they charged me anyway. When I asked to speak to the director, they were holidaying overseas and wouldn't discuss. Despite the Comment from the owner it was definitely Canberra Furnished Accommodation.
