I have been visiting this hotel numerous times since its opening back in 2006, and it has never disappointed. Rooms are large and luxurious. The shower is huge. Very good breakfast and when you find the time, there’s a large outdoor swimming pool as well as an indoor one + wellness. Restaurant requires reservation. Bar is not open till very late.

On the plus side, the hotel has easy external parking on the edge of town; a nice swimming pool; and comfortable lobby and room furniture. On the downside, it is slightly old fashioned and misses small extras that many Spanish hotels now provide like complimentary water in the room, a kettle/coffee making facilities and a packet or box of tissues. It adds to the impression that the hotel just wants you to spend money at their outrageously expensive bar (36 euros for 3 nightcaps!).

We had high expectations of this hotel. It promised pools and luxury. We were told on arrival that only the indoor pool was available at set times for an additional charge and you had to have poolside shoes and a swim hat. The staff we met beyond arrival were aloof and not helpful. Buses stop outside (4 and 5) that head into town. But other buses also go very close which means there is more choice than you first realise. Google maps was.our go to support in finding the buses to use. Nice hotel but not as good as we had hoped for. No tea and coffee in our room either. Drinks were available down stairs at an extra price.
