Candlewood Suites Lakewood

We stayed here for three weeks while looking for a house. The staff was exceptionally kind and compassionate through this rough time. We celebrated a birthday, took care of a sick dog, dealt with realtors, and many other very stressful things while staying here. The staff made us feel at home. When there was a break in nearby, the staff kept us safe, even having a family member in the parking lot to watch for us. The rooms are spacious and were very clean when we got there. The whole hotel is clean. I loved the snack room and gym. I can't express how great of a stay this was. I look forward to staying here again.

The staff were friendly throughout the stay and helpful too. Business center is decent, as is the little fitness center. The rooms with kitchens are nice and have good stove tops and cookware. Of note, they dont do daily room cleanings. It sounded like they only do them between guests or as requested. I didn't request a cleaning during my stay but i also didn't have much reason to either. Overall good experience and would recommend this to anyone.

What can I say about this hotel? Its clean. They were nice to my baby. The rates are fair & staff was pleasant. Not a huge fan of one younger overnight worker- pretty much not very friendly, but you will most likely not see her much. Free laundry is a plus. We loved this hotel to the point we worked double time to keep it for over 30 days. It was a safe place for our son, who is learning how to walk. I'd recommend it if you are traveling with children. Kitchen was nice & most simple dishes are provided. PS- Lakewood Team, you know who I am. Sorry we couldn't work things out to stay longer, but I wanted to give a good review because your staff was ALWAYS kind to us.
