Candlewood Suites Nashville North

Nice area away from all the crazy traffic. Hotel bed very soft, which isn't great for me personally, luckily my husband can sleep anywhere. There was a sticky mess on floor in lobby between bfast area and the elevator. It was there for over 36 hours, I had even let front desk know 1st night as it smelled of urine.

Called to verify a booking they took my card and gave me a price. Told them we had pets. They took my card info and made reservation. One we got there they added additional fees that they did not mention when booking. Diane at front desk had an attitude and was extremely rude. These people are not pet or people friendly. Had what looked like roaches running around sidewalk of hotel. The lobby looks run down and dated. Will never go back to that hotel EVER. Disgusting place

So we have been on the road traveling! We pulled in a couple of hours early and wanted to check to see if our room was possibly ready. The lady at the desk wouldn’t get up and speak to us face to face. I explained we got in town early and was checking. She asked for our name which I have and told us our room wasn’t ready yet. I said okay, can you give me an idea. She said no. This was all while she still sat behind a metal decorative wall. My husband never even saw her. Needless to say as a IH member, this is a huge disappointment! Our room better be ready at 3 sharp and the rest of the stay better go better.
