Fantastic service and hospitality at Canopy by Hilton Dallas Frisco Station! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel has a modern, stylish vibe and everything was spotless. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great view. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants and shopping. I especially appreciated the little touches like the refillable water stations, quality bath products, and the cozy lounge areas. Whether you’re in town for business, training, or just a getaway, this hotel hits the mark. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
A few things to note this hotel is entirely valet so it adds 30$ a day for this. I was surprised that there was not even an option to self park. Secondly the rooms do not have what is pretty standard in most hotels which is a smart outlet or some hybrid of it allowing usb, ac etc. so bring your cords and plug ins! Omar was lively and helpful to all- truly a wonderful and helpful employee. The parking attendants were all efficient and fast! The app allows a top option so we used that instead of cash . Short stay but thankful to all especially Omar. You represent the brand well!
One word that comes to mind about staying in this hotel is underwhelming. Upon arrival and opting for the self-parking, I received no greeting or a hello from the doorman/valet on duty. Instead, he was on his phone and having a great time. As a matter of fact, I was not once greeted by any of the attendants throughout my stay; instead, I was met with a cold stare from most of them, which was a pretty bad first impression. I also noticed a strong odor of a specific smoked substance, which was unpleasant outside the hotel. On the positive side, Shaun at the front desk was excellent, I believe he was the only one on shift, but he made for a great welcome. The elevators were fast, too, which is a plus. The room got the fundamentals, the bed was clean and comfortable, the AC and hot water worked well enough, and there were plenty of towels. At the class this hotel is positioned at, however, the rooms need to hit more than the fundamentals, and the room itself was lacking everywhere else. The bathroom sliding door had fallen off the track and could not be moved without breaking the door, and the whole room seemed to have a lot of wear and very few signs of upkeep. The shower also looked dirty, and the frosted glass divider looked worse. This wear theme was prevalent throughout the hotel, but more so in the room than in other public areas. The hot water was also very warm at best, though the shower was nice. At check out, the two agents on duty were pleasant and friendly, but the (a different)doorman was again occupied on his phone. Although the hotel is in a convenient location, improvements are needed in customer service and upkeep. For the $164 I paid after all taxes and fees, I was left underwhelmed with this experience, and I will consider staying elsewhere next time I need to be in this area.
