Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District

This is just a great hotel. We had a pleasant check in with Peter at the front desk and enjoyed a super clean and comfortable room. The ice and water dispenser near the room was just one of many little touches that made our stay feel luxurious. The common area/bar downstairs was also very nice

For our first trip to Minneapolis, we were so excited to have chosen the Canopy! We ended up staying an extra night for travel reasons and were so comfortable the entire time. Here are additional details: ROOM: We were in the Deluxe King Room. So modern with tall, wood beam ceilings, artistic metal touches and a spacious bathroom with White Vetiver bath products. Despite the large room, you can very much hear your neighbor’s directly above you. Keep this in mind especially if you have kids lol. Bed was sooo comfortable with down pillows and breathable 300-thread sheets. Nespresso machine was perfect to start the day too. LOCATION: The area was adjacent to downtown but sooo sleepy. We felt super safe arriving and coming back super late (my flight got me in at 2:30AM for a 3AM arrival!). Staff was welcoming even at this time! AMENITIES: The Canopy offers free all-day use of cute orange bikes which were perfect for us since we didn’t have a car. We were able to explore on both sides of the city and the bikes were comfortable! However, not much else is included. It would be an extra $40 just to use the pool on top of the expensive night rate 😳 Breakfast is also not included but has a nice menu at the on site restaurant. Overall, we would stay again!

We stayed at the Canopy hotel for our anniversary in the weekend. We got the deluxe room which was very nice! Really clean (shoutout to the cleaners!). It has a very modern style but also has that rustic vibe. The bed was super spacious and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay because it was easy to check in and the staff who checked us in gave us a coupon for free desserts which was super lovely. We appreciated that there was a water station right outside in the hall way from the rooms. There was plant based shampoo, conditioner and body wash & no plastic trash bags. Unfortunately we did not experience the spa, which was located outside of the hotel building near the car park. We would visit again in the future!
