Google Maps Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Yorkville exceeded expectations. The location is outstanding—central enough to make most destinations in Toronto easily accessible, yet tucked into a quiet and upscale neighborhood. We saved a lot on transportation thanks to its convenient placement, often choosing to walk instead of using Lyft. The hotel itself is beautifully modern with a warm, welcoming design that balances comfort and style. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, offering a peaceful retreat after long days of exploring the city. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the property, from the filtered water stations to the curated local art pieces. The on-site restaurant provided a delicious dinner before our concert outing, with food that was clearly chef-prepared in both taste and presentation. Room service on our first night was equally impressive—fresh ingredients, beautifully plated, and delivered promptly. Security and staff were professional and courteous, always ready to assist without being intrusive. The surrounding area felt safe, even while walking in the evening, though it’s worth noting that like many major cities, Toronto does have a visible homelessness issue. It’s a sobering reminder of the challenges that persist even in the most developed urban areas. Overall, the Canopy by Hilton in Yorkville made our trip to Toronto comfortable, convenient, and memorable. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Truly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with modern features like blackout curtains and lighting controls all at the touch of a button. Whenever we requested extra towels or body wash, the staff responded quickly and attentively. Returning to a clean room every day was definitely a bonus. While the location isn’t in the heart of downtown, it still felt safe for two women and is conveniently close to Sherbourne Station. I will definitely be back to stay in this hotel when visiting Toronto in the future. Thanks!

I stay at a lot of hotels for work and have been a Hilton Diamond member. I don't write a lot of reviews and when I do it is generally because of a poor experience. We just left this hotel and it is now one of my personal favorites. The staff was genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful hotel staff of anywhere I have stayed. I think they treated my family better than the staff at the 5 star Vegas resorts. The aesthetic of the hotel was great and overall very clean. The location is not the most ideal but it was more than okay. The valet and parking situation is a little goofy, but the staff there was great as well. There is an odd elevator and room situation where you have to take a different set of elevators from the time you enter at the front to get to you room. The room technology was great. The automated lighting controls worked very well. The restaurant and cafe were very nice. I've stayed at hundreds probably around a thousand hotels for work in the last 20 years. This is definitely in my top 2-3 for my personal preference and it is primarily because of the hotel staff. Thank you to everyone there for a great visit.
