Great place! Great view. Friendly staff. Great gym. Rooms are all spacious and private. Beds a little hard for my taste. Close to velas. Good food. In door and out pool. Sauna and hot tube. Well manicured gardens. Definitely a good stay in sao Jorge.

We return again after 8 years, but this time stayed for two full weeks instead of just a couple days. We rented a two bedroom apartment. Max took wonderful care of all our requests, the housekeeping team tended to our needs whenever requested (although we don't generally require much when staying long term aside from trash removal and fresh towels every few days). The rooms are comfy, the views are spectacular, the pool is relaxing, and it's just the perfect place to unwind and relax or to base your adventures on Sao Jorge. It's just a short drive from Velas or the airport. There are numerous restaurants outside of Velas are within 15 minutes, or Thursday-Sunday you can reserve a seat for dinner at the on-site restaurant. As Sao Jorge really isn't a large place, it's easy to hop on the highway and cross the island within an hour, so getting to any of the nature parks or trails is also very easy. If you don't rent a car, they can help arrange taxis or transportation from the resort. Also, if there are any businesses or shopping you need recommendations for, they can help point you to the right place. Until next time my friends, thank you for everything!

This place is an absolute gem. Great staff, amazing views and location The 1 star is because C3 had one door that didn’t lock. The unit is on 1st floor. The staff knew about too and never bothered to tell us. They never even offered no credit for the inconvenience. We found out about the door issue late at night after going into spare room to check on sliding door and staff did not tell us in advance. If you have kids or need an extra room, don’t stay in C3. We also asked for another room but none was given. We then asked for a credit, and none was given. Everything else was amazing To the owner, get the door fixed on C3 and the review would of have been 5 star Also you put guests at risk and should be ashamed of yourself for three things. 1. Not having your staff tell guests of the issue in advance . You are hiding important information 2. Trying to make money over providing security for your guests 3. Also try and have one unit available in case of emergencies
