Spent the weekends on this place for an event. Location is great, steep roads and lots of parking space. We were greeted with a drum band as we enter and have ourselves checked in. I'm not sure if this happens very often - but the power is on and off sometimes (probably due to bad weather) and it comes back after 3-5mins. overall, place is great - love the food and its amenities. perfect for large groups.

I would say the canyon woods in tagaytay it has a very nice view. The hotel is big. But, the room is not really clean and we stayed for 2 nighs amd 3 days and did not clean the room everyday. The worst is we are expecting it has a buffet breakfast but they only serve a plate breakfast. When I asked the staff they said because doesn't have much guest. The shuttle going to pavillion is every after 2 hrs. Atleaat every after 1hr.

First of all, I will never come back here again. From beginning to end, the entire experience was terrible. When I arrived to check in, there were three staff members at the counter, but the process was incredibly slow. I ended up waiting more than 45 minutes just to check in. The room condition itself wasn’t bad, but the TV was much too small. Worse, there was no tissue in the toilet, and I had to call the reception three times just to get some. This clearly shows they don't have any proper checklist to prepare the room, and their process and follow-up are extremely slow and disorganized. Dinner was even worse. My plan was to enjoy a relaxed evening, having dinner and drinks within the hotel. But most of the menu items were "not available." Even worse, to order different items, I had to go to different sections — drinks at the bar, barbecue at the grill area, and other food elsewhere. It made me wonder why there were staff around if guests had to walk everywhere just to place their own orders. I was so frustrated that I decided to leave and eat elsewhere, even though I had hoped for a hassle-free evening inside the hotel. The next morning at the breakfast buffet was complete chaos. There weren't enough plates available, food was refilled very slowly, and when new sausages were brought out, people rushed to grab them all at once. The bread section was a mess too, with lots of heated bread left abandoned and going to waste. After everything, I can confidently say: I will never stay here again.
