Cape Otway Cottages

We arrived at Stone Cottage around 3pm, and we absolutely loved this place. It's located in the hill, with many equipments to use. This first day sunset was amazing even it was raining. My husband and I took some wedding pictures and we cherish that moment so much. It was cold at night, but the fireplace can definitely warm you up. At night time, the stars are beautiful, I took those two pictures just to show you how this unbelievably beautiful. Place without the light pollution. We spotted wallabies and laughing kookaburra and different kinds of birds around the house.

I stayed at Cape Otway Cottages Moonrise Spa Cottage for 3 nights. It was a fantastic place to get away. Me and my partner brought our two dogs with us and they had a ball exploring and running around the outdoor area of the cottage. As Moonrise is quite secluded, we weren't worried about letting the dogs off. There was also a gated deck which we were able to secure them in The cottage itself was cosy and the fireplace was amazing - we loved having it on throughout the night. I would definitely recommend a getaway to cape otway cottages if you like nature and going for nice long drives along the Great Ocean Road.

We tried to book a 2 night stay at the cottages but Sharon, the manager was beyond rude and unpleasant. She said that she wanted the day off and couldn’t be bothered when we called to book. When we called a couple days later her unpleasant mood was unchanged. She hung up when it was suggested that her tone was off putting. We found a great place that allows dogs that ended up being closer to the beach and newer. So it actually ended up working out better. Hopefully the cottages hire someone to help her because she seems very unhappy.
