Cape St Francis Resort

Beautiful and cozy spot with the freshest ocean breeze greeting you the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious (though mine didn’t have air conditioning. It’s worth checking if that’s the case for all). Dinner was absolutely divine, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The town is clean, quiet, peaceful, and simply breathtaking. A true escape.

The roads overall in the EC area are terrible and it is not the responsibility of the resort to sort this out but please be careful of the numerous potholes when traveling around here. Entering the resort you are greeted by the friendly reception staff, who provide you with all the info required for your stay at the resort. One thing lacking at this "resort" unlike others we have been to is the shortage of amenities for kids, yes there is a nice pool at the restaurant and a very small wooden "climbing gym" which the kids can use but apart from that there are not really amenities to keep the kids busy especially when the weather is not great. Don't get me wrong this is a great place with beautiful beaches, walking/hiking trails and sight seeing to do. Also there is a lack of cable/satellite TV to keep the kids busy when the weather doesn't permit outdoors. Only issues we had on arrival at our accomodation which we made reception aware of was that we were missing two items from the checklist and that the pan/saucepan in our unit was still dirty but that was very minor. There is daily servicing of the units and this is such a crucial luxury when on holiday. It's always nice to come back to a unit that has been thoroughly cleaned again everyday and saves u that extra bit of time to just relax and enjoy. The cleaners are super friendly. We attempted the take a swim in the resort pool close to our unit but upon entering it it became cloudy with all the stuff sitting on the bottom which shows that it is not possibly that well maintained during quieter periods. Overall a good experience for nature /beach lovers like us and also if you love walking there are an abundance of trails and hikes.

The location is just amazing. The area is beautiful. The resort is on the beach . The beach is clean. The room we stayed in was very disapointing the curtains didn't have the lining so we had to keep the top curtain closed . The room was on the ground floor and the lighting was really bad. The pictures advertised was very different. The bath had a big open shower which was not very pleasant. The towels on the first night was old ... The second day it was better. . The service was nice the manager and service staff was really helpful.
