Previous reviews do not do this hotel justice. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping come in daily, they make sure we have a supply of fresh bottled water. The food is good, always a good choice. Staff are friendly, polite and welcoming. We have spent 2 weeks at the resort, and have used Santa Maria beach as the hotel beach is a bit rocky. Ultimately we will be visiting again

🌟 5 Stars! 🌟 Absolutely loved the experience! The animation team was incredibly nice and friendly—they made everyone feel welcome and added so much energy and fun to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, with a great variety and quality, and the service was amazing—fast, attentive, and always with a smile. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

After staying in more than 100 hotels, including resorts, this is by far the worst… Yes, the staff are friendly and Antonio is a star, as people say… but my stay was an absolute nightmare… There is very little variety of food, and the quality is very low. On the very first day I caught a stomach virus, which I had to deal with all week (I’m quite convinced that the minimum safety measures are not followed in the kitchen). The air conditioning in the room doesn’t cool, and on the last night it suspiciously turned off even though the electricity was still working… The most aggressive mosquitoes I have ever seen in my life. When you ask for Cape Verdean escudos, the exchange rate is whatever suits them (1-100), and when you ask for euros, it’s 1-110. The gym has very few machines. The cocktails are very basic. The only water included in the all-inclusive package is tap water; bottled water at the bar is charged at €1 (UNBELIEVABLE). I will neither return nor recommend it to anyone—what a huge disappointment…
