Captain Freeman Inn

We’ve stayed here twice and the minute I leave, I start dreaming about our next visit! The attention to detail is beyond. Laurie and Jason I swear are mind readers! Everything is always perfect. Things we love the most: how quiet it is compared to a hotel or resort, walking distance to the beach, salt water pool, the beautiful flowers and trees surrounding the inn, the food…the list goes on. This is our favorite place and we will be back year after year!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our Babymoon. It was the perfect place to stay. It was incredibly relaxing and the property was amazing. It was super clean and the rooms were exactly as pictured. The owners are so friendly and go above and beyond. They provide so many sweet thoughtful details during your stay. They even remembered we didn’t like blueberries and didn’t serve them to us the next day and instead gave us more strawberries and raspberries instead. The food was unbelievable and worth the stay alone. It was honestly the perfect vacation thanks to the hospitality, food and accommodations. I couldn’t recommend it more.

We just completed our 5th stay at the Captain Freeman Inn in as many years, and each one has been as enjoyable as the last. Laurie and Jason are superb hosts and their continued attention to upgrades of this historic building make it a fantastic experience for visitors. The day is always begun with a scrumptious breakfast, worthy of a fine dining establishment and served on the screened porch with a lovely view of the pool and yard. Each year we have stayed in a different room, named after Cape villages: Dennis, Barnstable, Truro, Orleans, and Brewster. Each one has been great. In speaking with other guests during our stays it seems that many are, like us, returnees. No surprise! While Google only suggests a maximum of 5 stars, we give the Captain Freeman Inn 6 stars!
