Caramell Premium Resort

We stayed in Premium rooms and they were great, with a balcony and nice big beds. The staff were friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant and at the reception. We enjoyed our stay very much. We did have minor issues in our room but everything was fixed quickly and swiftly. Next to the hotel there is an adventure park with obstacles for all ages. Great experience and recommend to anyone

The rooms were very spacious, clean, well equipped. The staff was nice, friendly, helpful. The food was absolutely fabulous, it greatly exceeded our expectations. Incredible choice, everything fresh, regularly replenished. On the other hand, the spa was disappointing. In building A, the first part is for adults only. The whirlpools in the thermal pool don't turn on, even one of the 2 thermal pools was drained on Sunday, the sauna and Turkish bath didn't work, the tepidarium worked but it smelled really bad. In building B the pool is quite cold, the whirlpools turn on in 3 sections, 4-6 stations each, totally inadequate for such amputn of people, and we were still out of season, bar was out of order. Sauna world is more for pictures for the web. There were 6 saunas and a salt cave advertised. So the infrasauna has capacity for 2 people, the biosauna for 3 people, the herb sauna 3 people and no herbs smell in it. That leaves 2 finnish saunas and a steam room - they were fine. Kneipp walkway was out of order, no cooling pool was here. The demand for extra payment for parking, here in the middle of nowhere, is ridiculous, so we parked outside the hotel area.

Fair for the price. Unfortunately, it’s visible that we are talking about a hotel which is more than 20 years old. The amortization of the property is not handled properly: drilled holes on the walls, low water pressure in the bathroom, unsightly and disintegrating floor edges. However the food was OK, despite the fact that there are not so much gluten-free options.
