Caravan Hotel

Clean, modern rooms. Staff is nice and attentive. Breakfast so-so. Decent value.

Just a very average hotel. The rooms were great and they have a nice terrace area next to the hotel but that is basically where it ends. Staff was not very nice, I wanted to wash one shirt (laundry service is Really expensive btw, as you pay per clothing item and its over 1 dollar per item, even socks) and the receptionist said it was not possible. My tour guide could convince her eventually to let me do it but this should not have been a problem to begin with. The breakfast was also quite mediocre, could have all been better honestly. Unless you only care for the room (which was clean, modern and had comfortable beds) i'd say that I would not recommend this hotel.

The positives - generally clean and tidy The negatives - misleading photos, stairs to reception and to rooms, no sound insulation so you hear everyone in the hallways, breakfast is shocking - not kept warm, just left there for 2 hours to stew, taste of a dirty fridge from the pancakes. Do yourself a favour and go to a place like giraffe for breakfast. The parking is limited at the front, you may be lucky like us to park in the dodgy playground behind the hotel. We’ve been in Kyrgyzstan for 3 weeks - guest house, hotels, yurts and this was the worst experience out of all. I’ll leave it with that.
