We stayed at this campsite for 11 days with our small trailer and really enjoyed it. The views of the mountains were fantastic, and the location is perfect for hiking, walking, and biking — plenty of trails right from the campsite. It’s also a great place to come with kids — safe, spacious, and surrounded by nature. One thing to note is that the reservation system could be more flexible. During our stay, we noticed quite a few empty pitches, even though the website showed everything as fully booked. There may be room for improvement there. Also, the electricity is priced at 1€/kWh, which feels quite high. It wasn’t an issue for us since we relied on our own batteries, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan to hook up to power. Overall, a great spot for nature lovers and families alike. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were delighted to staying on Caravan Park Sexten. All very clean, good restaurants, great service, the swimming pool and Spa are amazing and it is located in such a beautiful paradise in the middle of the mountains. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting and exploring the Dolomites.

Beautiful location with lovely lodges and comfortable beds – but the swimming pool was a bit of a disappointment. The rules are very strict, especially for young children. Splashing isn’t allowed, and kids are only permitted to enter and exit the pool using the ladders. Even a small misstep, like getting in one rung too early, can result in an immediate whistle from the lifeguard – which can feel a bit overwhelming, particularly for younger kids. It would be helpful if these strict rules were communicated more clearly in advance, as they can be difficult for children to follow. As for the tavern: we wouldn’t recommend it. The food was quite expensive and the quality didn’t match the price. On top of that, the staff seemed very stressed, which impacted the overall dining experience. That’s a pity, because the surroundings and accommodation really are wonderful.
