Very nice hotel. Clean and cozy. It shows with their 4-star hotel ratings. The service is great. There's no kettle in the room, and we asked for it, and they provided it right away. The room has no air-conditioning as well (I think because of the government's requirement), we need to ask to turn it on, and again, they did it right away. Breakfast is great.

Decent hotel, with some exceptions... Air conditioning was not working in our room. The room was too warm, and we had to open the window which resulted in traffic noise, and a poor night's sleep! No fridge/Mini Bar etc to cool drinks, or store food Soap dispensers were postioned upside-down, and leaking hand soap all over the sink area. Not a very pedestrian friendly area if you want to walk to the city, but buses are regular and very reasonable.

This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. There is an international standard for hotel ratings, and this place simply does not meet the criteria. My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and I had to change rooms twice. The rooms are outdated, and all the walls were dirty and stained. The breakfast is terrible, and the service is even worse! The receptionist, Alessandro/Alexandro, was extremely rude and disrespectful. He called me at 11:45 AM, pressuring me to check out. I assumed check-out was at 12:00 PM, as I was never informed otherwise and received no guidance. On top of that, I arrived very late at the hotel, and my reservation included a note requesting a late check-out. This staff member refused to write his name down on a piece of paper. I also asked about the hotel’s occupancy rate, since he was making a huge fuss over a late check-out. To make matters worse, he took me to the luggage storage area and started yelling at me, even approaching me aggressively as if he were going to attack me. In short, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel! It is not a 4-star property, and the service is terrible and disastrous. Even I checked the hotel’s website and saw that there were plenty of rooms available, yet the receptionist created unnecessary drama. He could have simply allowed a late check-out without all the stress. This is what customer service and care are all about concepts that this hotel clearly does not understand. He even went so far as to insult me, saying I was not a good person and insulting me in Italian, thinking I wouldn’t understand.
